Hatzopoulos at the World Driving Championships in Beekbergen!

Another participation in a major event this year for Greek Equestrian Sport, this time in the sport of driving!

Thanasis Hatzopoulos will take part in the World Driving Championships to be held in Beekbergen, the Netherlands from August 20 to 24, 2025.

The Greek athlete will participate for the third time in his sporting career in a World Championship along with his three horses Darius, Greydanius and Nimrot, while he had participated again in 2019 and 2023.

24 countries with 88 athletes and 257 horses will participate in the World Championship.

The first veterinary check of the horses is on Wednesday, August 20, while the dressage competition will take place on Thursday and Friday, August 21 and 22. The marathon is scheduled for Saturday, August 23 and the final cone competition will take place on Sunday, August 24.
