Jumping Champions Mytilineou, Papathanassiou, Martin & Zolota Yara

Under the sounds of Zorba the METKA Equestrian Championship 2017 was completed shortly at the Olympic Equestrian Center in Markopoulo. In Jumping three amazons and a rider took the titles of the Champions in the categories of Children, Juniors, Young Horses and Adults.

In the last Seniors class, Ioli Mytilineou with Broadway stayed 1st in the end, being the only pair with 0 points in the four rounds. "I am very happy to have won the Championship for the first time, with a horse that was my mother's and I ride only 3 weeks, "said the new champion. Anna Papageorgiou was 2nd champion with Waikiki Akino with 17 points and 3rd Champion Alexandros Fourlis with Grandeur with 18 points.

In the Young Riders category, Constantinos Papathanasiou with Secret Prince was the Champion with a total of 16 points in four rounds., followed by Andreas Vardinoyiannis with Mercury with 22 points and Ioanna Tsocha with Go4it with 23 points in 3rd place.

In the Juniors Class for the second consecutive year, Paola Martini and Cleopatra, being the only ones with 0 points in the four rounds, were the Champions. Second Champion was Selini Popp with Saigon 32 with 3 points and third Champion Anna Danalis with Seattle Brecourt with 5 points.

In the Children category, two amazons had 4 points in the four rounds, but the champion was the Amazon with the best ranking in the current Grand Prix. Athina Zolota Yara with Z Akinos. Second was Evelina Vogli with Qualinka du Chatet and 3rd Artemis Pitsikou with Marisa with 8 points.

The winner of the Amazon category was Anna Danalis with Prelude de la Roque with 4 points in total and the better current ranking. In 2nd place was Margarita Dendrinou with Bonfire also with 4 points and in 3rd place Paola Martinini with Cobbydor with 4 points.
