Greece at the Buftea Balkan Endurance Championship

In the third Balkan Championship of the year, Greece will be present on 22 and 23 September. After the Balkan Championships in Dressage and Jumping, Balkan Championship in endurance will be hosted in Buftea, Romania, at the Shagya Sports Club.

Five riders will take part in the team competition and one moere at the individual. This year's Champion Pantelis Salonikios with Amir, Chryssa Makri with Golden Valley, Giannoula Mitona with Aphroditi, Dimitris Mitonas with Koheilan Salamon P, Ioannis Tsousousis with Snow White and Dimitris Doulgeris with Naomi.The three best results count for the team competition. Veterinary control of the horses is on Friday, September 22, while the competition is scheduled for the following Saturday, at 7.00.

The Greek mission is expected to arrive at the Shagya Sports Club tomorrow, Thursday. Four countries, Bulgaria, Greece, Romania and Turkey will take part in this year's Balkan Championship with a total of 23 horses and riders. The athletes will compete on a 90-kilometer route.
