Balioussis, Martini & Vatidi protagonists at the 2nd championship

In the second Championship competition, which took place at the Olympic Equestrian Center in Markopoulo last weekend, two amazons were once again the protagonists in their classes.

In the Young Riders class, Paola Martini (IAOF) with Electic Elvis was also the winner of the 2nd competition, where she had the fastest ride after a jump off with Selini Popp (IOBOP) with Brandy Sugar in second place. In 3rd place was Athanasia Kyriakopoulou (IOVOP) with Joli Coeur with 4 points in the first round.

In the Children category, Anna Vatidi (IOA) also won 2nd victory with C Anton H with the fastest ride in the barrage between 4 athletes. In 2nd place was Simeon Paraschakis (AIOB) with Boris and 3rd place Maria Gounela with Cartogolda (IOTH).

In the Seniors class his first victory was achieved by Ilias Baliousis (IOA) with KEC Corsica after a jump off between 8 athletes with the only clear round at the barrage. Second was Elina Dendrinou (IPOA) with Lando 303 and third, Maria Papourdanou with Unique de Rhodes (EIO).

Amazon winner was Angelika Karakasili (IKALSG) with Captain Cunterbunt with the fastest double clear round. In 2nd place was Margarita Dendrinou (IPOA) with Bonfire and 3rd place Christina Routman (EIO) with Diane.

The classes, C and B and the junior class were not held on Sunday.

The 2018 Championship for the two equestrian sports will begin next Thursday, May 17th and will end on Sunday, May 20th at the Olympic Equestrian Center in Markopoulo.
