5th victory for Greece at the Athens CSIO2*-W

Successfully, despite the unexpected rain, was completed shortly with the Nations Cup, the 4th day of the Athens CSIO2 * -W at the Olympic Equestrian Center in Markopoulo.

Italy won easily the gold medal. The four Italian athletes scored eight penalties in both rounds and climbed to the top of the podium. The silver medal went to Bulgaria with 12 penalty points in both rounds and the bronze medal to Ukraine with 23 penalty points. In the 5th place was the Greek team with Grigoris Voglis - Quelly Briquedale, Anna Papageorgiou - Waikiki Akino, Nikolina Makarona - Arc de Triomphe & Aggelos Toulopis- Quite Qool to score 27 penalties in both rounds.

The 5th Greek victory in the four-days was achieved by Efthimis Kremiotis and Rockstar in the 12th class, making the fastest ride in 66,61. In 2nd place was Selini Popp with Brandy Sugar with time 74.81 and the Italian Filippo Martini di Cigala in third place with Quaynar.

In the 1st class of the day Ypung Horses winner was Romanian Luca Ruxandariu with Golden Gate after a jump off between 6 athletes with 0 points and the best time 45,13. In 2nd place was Bulgarian Plamen Radoslavov with Cassai with 0 points and 45.65 and in3rd place also Bulgarian Ivo Bonev with Cazenta with 0 points and time 47.59.
