The Hellenic Equestrian Federation and the Jumping Technical Committee, paying due attention to the new generation of Jumping athletes, who will make up the Jumping national teams in the coming years, is pleased to announce the organization of a series of Jumping equestrian seminars for Children & Juniors with the kind support of the family of Yannis & Melissa Vardinogiannis!

The equestrian seminars will be taught by the renowned Swedish trainer, Mr. Sylve Soderstrand, who has been the Head of the Swedish and Norwegian National Teams for a number of years and was Chef d’ Equipe at the Olympic Games Beijing 2008, London 2012 and Rio 2014 , as well as in World and European Championships of all age categories with medals and great successes. Today he delivers equestrian seminars to athletes in many countries of the world on the principles that created the successful model of Swedish national teams that has dominated in recent years around the world.

The series consists of three equestrian seminars and will take place at the MVA Stables equestrian facility in Tatoi, Attica, from November 2022 to February 2023. The first seminar of the series is scheduled for Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 November 2022 and will take place in indoor arena of the MVA Stables facility for familiarization purposes ahead of the Panhellenic 2022 at the OKIM indoor. The seminar will include basic dressage exercises, jumping exercises and theoretical lessons for team spirit building and for horse & show management.

The next two seminars in the series will be scheduled for the months of January and February 2023, i.e. at the beginning of the new year and before the important competitions begin.

The number of participants in the first seminar is 10 athletes for the Children and 10 athletes for the Juniors, and it is initially open to athletes who have participated in the respective categories in the "2022 Greek Championship" and the 2022 Balkan Championship.

For the participation of the athletes, a priority order will be observed. If the number is not filled by the declarations, any vacancies that occur will be filled following the recommendation of the TC.

The list of participants will be announced within the first 10 days of November, while the timetable and organizational details of the seminar will be announced by the EOI Secretariat on Monday, November 21, 2022.
