V. Egglezakis passed away
Greek Equestrian sport today says goodbye with deep sorrow to a friend and horse lover, Vangelis Englezakis
who passed away very early at the age of 63.
Vangelis has been a very active judge and steward for the past 25 years. He loved horse riding as an athlete of the Hellenic Equestrian Club and never stopped offering his services to the sport.
He was a Founding Member of the Association of Equestrian Judges and President from 2021, a member of the Central Committee of Judges of HEF and an international steward.
He was present at all Federation's events, national and international, as a judge or steward or as a volunteer, tirelessly!
His energetic personality, his strong presence and his contribution, but above all his love for the sport will remain indelible in the Greek Equestrian family.
He will be fondly remembered.
Vangelis Englezakis was a businessman and a father of one daughter, Tina.
His Funeral will take place on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 4:30 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception of Timiou Stavros (Stavros Attica), Lavriou Street 2 in Glyka Nera.
The Board and staff of HEF express their deepest condolences to his daughter and his family.
Vangelis, may your Heaven be full of horses!
