Horse riding & HEF everywhere!

Within a four-day period, October 3-6, horse riding and HEF had a presence in all the length and breadth of Greece with the simultaneous organization of sports events in different equestrian sports and for all technical levels.

ENDURANCE: Balkan Championship 2024, international and national competitions at Kilkis Equestrian Club in Northern Greece

JUMPING: CSI1*& 2* in Thessaloniki organized by the Equestrian Center of Macedonia and the Ippos Club facility

REGION OF CRETE: 4th competition in Dressage & Jumping at the Sports Equestrian Club of Plakia, Prefecture of Rethymno.

DEVELOPMENT: Development Tournament with Dressage and Show Jumping in Kavala and at the Kavala Riding Academy.

The events were organized and/or supported by HEF, which has funds for this purpose from its budget together with its staff, its equipment and the judges, stewards and technicians it has trained.

Despite the financial and practical challenges, this rich activity highlights the coordinating capabilities of HEF and confirms its strategy and multi-year efforts to spread and develop sport riding throughout the country, with an emphasis outside the major urban centers.

In this way and within its capabilities, HEF, as it is institutionally obliged, creates conditions for the competitive activity in all equestrian sports of the (for four years now) steadily increasing sports potential in clubs, riders and horses in our country and for achieving greater success from our great athletes and horses.
