Longines EEF Series Athens CSIO3*-W – 2nd Day !
With Angel Nyagolov winning the gold medal for Bulgaria at the M Grand Prix of the Longines EEF Series Athens CSIO3*-W, the 2nd day of the Athens Equestrian Festival 2021 was completed at the Olympic Equestrian Center in Markopoulo.
Angel Nyagolov and Chaccato had the only clear round out of 29 starters in the GP. In 3rd place was Monika Martini for Greece on Electic Elvis with 4 faults and time of 89.65 and in 2nd place was for Turkey Taha Yadicares with Jacardi with 4 faults.
Winner of the first today’s class of Athens CSIO3*-W was Bulgarian Ivaylo Bonev on Count Ebony with 0 penalties and the quickest time 62.83. In 2nd place was Greek Yiannis Skandalis on Vacaress with 0 points and time 66,64 and in 3rd place from Turkey Taha Yedicares on Atleet with 0 points and time 67,57.
In today's second class of CSI * height 1.10m. Eleni Polyviou achieved her second victory with Saigon from Cyprus with 0 points and a time of 58.94. In 2nd place was the Bulgarian Peter Cholakov with Cloetta with 0 points and a time of 62.83 and in 3rd place for Greece Efthymis Kremiotis with Pirinia with 0 points and a time of 63.15.
In the third class CSI1 * height 1.20m. in 3rd place was for Greece Helen Schut with Daouschka with 0 points and a time of 31.67, while first was the Bulgarian Alexander Krasimirov with Ard Doolan with 0 points and the best time of 29.18. Second was the Romanian Daniel Ionut Bucur with Serena with 0 points and a time of 31.36.
In the penultimate class of the children, the 2nd place was taken for Greece by Arianna Darema with Calice with an clear round and time of 68.45, while the first place was taken by the Turk Duru Ersoy with Lucky Luck with 0 points and the best time of 64.60. Third was Ege Cevik with Alvaro with 0 points and a time of 71.80.
Tomorrow, the 3rd day of AEF 2021 will start at 8.30 and will also include five classes with the most interesting the Children Nations Cup at 17.00
