The Jumping & Dressage Champions 2022 !

The equestrian fans enthusiastically applauded the 2022 Champions in Jumping and Dressage, who emerged yesterday at the Olympic Equestrian Center in Markopoulo after a four-day event that began on Thursday, May 19th.

In Jumpinv Seniors Class Ilias Baliousis of the Athens Equestrian Club with Casper d’Argouges for the first time in his career was the Senior Champion, collecting 8 penalty points in all four rounds. In 2nd place was Yiannis Skandalis of the Varybombi Equestrian Club with Ego di Villagana also with 8 penalty points and in 3rd place was last year's Champion Monika Martini of the Hellenic Riding Club with Electic Elvis with 12 points.

In the Young Riders Class for the second time after 2019, Antonis Antoniou of IOKOUVara became Champion with Janning, collecting a total of 14 points in all four rounds. Last year's Junior Champion Melina Peimanidis of IPPOKalamata with Indy S was with 16 penalty points in 2nd place and in 3rd place was Athena Zolota Giara of AIOEkalis with Ulysse d’Orbec with also 16 penalty points.

Στην Κατηγορία Εφήβων Πρωταθλήτρια αναδείχθηκε η Σεμέλη Ποππ του ΙΟΚΟΥΒαρά με τον Cash de la Hart με τους λιγότερους βαθμούς ποινής 8. Στην 2^η θέση ήταν με 9 βαθμούς η Τζιώρτζια Σκλαβενίτη του ΑΙΟΕκάλης με τον Magico και στην 3^η θέση ήταν με 16 βαθμούς ο Συμεών Παρασχάκης με τον Boris du Melnire του ΑΙΟΒάρης.

In the Children 's Category, Stefania Besiou of IOBOP with Charlie Sheen was the Champion with only 2 points in the four rounds. In 2nd and 3rd place were two brothers from IOAthens, Vasiliki Baliousi with Hermieque with 4 points and Loukas Baliousis with Uidji with 8 penalty points.

In the Amazon Category, the big winner was Maria Papourdanou of IKEMacedonia with Unique des Rhodes who was the only one with 0 points in the four rounds. In 2nd place was Mariansi Kyriakopoulou of IOBOP with Veneur de st Hubert with 4 points and in 3rd place Danae Besdemioti also of IKEMacedonia with Campino and 4 points.

In the 5-year-old Young Horses class, the Senior Champion Ilias Baliousis was the winner with Maximus and 4 points, while in the other 6-7-year-old category, the winner was Dimitris Natsis of IOKOUVaras with Pellegrino van t Edelweishof.

In Dressage, for the seventh year and for the second consecutive year, Kelly Sklavounou of IOVarybombi and Quanderas became Snior Champions. After the three classes Da, Δβ and Freestyle she gathered a total percentage of 69.58%. In 2nd place was Christina Sachinoglou with Damor of AIOATTiki with a total percentage of 67.05% and in 3rd place Stelios Stavroulakis with Baiao of AKIVarybombis with a total percentage of 66.31%.

n the Young Riders class with a total percentage of the three competitions Da, De and Freestyle 65.38% Champion for the second consecutive year (in 2021 she was in the Junior Category) was Zoi Tertipi of AIOAttiki with Capuccino.

In the Junior Category, for the first time, Isabella Atsalaki of the Hellenic Equestrian Club with Desteny became Champion with a total percentage of 65.02% from the three competitions C4, C5 and freestyle. Second Champion was Ilenia Oikonomou of AIOATTiki with King Black with a percentage of 64.77%.

Danae Giannopoulou of IOVarybombi with Donatella emerged in the Children's Category Champion for the second time after 2020 with a percentage of 75.23 from the three classes A3, A4 and A5. Second was Karolina Atsalaki of the Hellenic Equestrian Club with Spoekedammetje Nikos with a percentage of 70.07% and third was Korina Meimari of the IOMesogeion with Hidde Fan E Coulissenhoeve with a percentage of 66.20%.

The two equestrian athletes from Crete, Michalis Kalarakis of IOVarybombi with Tony and Dimitra Eleni Pantehaki of the Equestrian Academy of Crete with Miss Olympia, successfully took part in the Equestrian Championship in all three days.

Also yesterday Sunday, the last day of the Championship, all the clubs that starred last year in the three sports, jumping, dressage and endurance were awarded. Champion Club in Jumping was IOVOP the Equestrian Club of the Northern Suburbs, Polynikis Club in Dressage wasthe Athletic Equestrian Club of Attica and Polynikis Club in Endurance was Rhodes Equestrian Training Center.
