Yesterday was a unique day for Greek Equestrian sport!

Two Greek jumpers in different events made us really proud. Annie Mayo Vatidis at the Youth Equestrian Games in Aachen and Angelos Touloupis at the Grand Prix of Budapest.

Angelos together with his incredible stallion Lord Mexx, continuing their amazing performances lately, managed within a month, after the 1st place in the Grand Prix of Athens and the 2nd place in the Grand Prix of Gorla Minore, to star again in the most important 1.50m Grand Prix competition. of Longines EEF Series CSIO3*-W of Budapest.

The couple Tuloupis-Lord Mexx made a clear round and with 6 other athletes entered the jump off. There, with the best time, 40.62, and a clea round again, they won the 1st place.

Tomorrow Saturday, 2/7 at 14.30 the Greek Team with Angelos Touloupis & Lord Mexx, Kritonas Zafeiropoulos & Dicpario, Karim Fares & Captain Z and Yiannis Skandalis & Ego di Viallagana will take part in the semi-final - Cup of Nations of the Lognines EEF Series 2022 in Budapest with the aim, of course, of qualifying for the grand final of the Nations Cup, which will take place in Warsaw, Poland in September.

The recent major participations and successes of Greek Equestrian sport in the international arena are part and result of the long-term planning of HEF at all levels and equestrian sports since 2016 to gradually prepare properly and support the participation of Greek riders in all important international equestrian events , both in general, and in the context of the Pre-Olympic Preparation Program for Paris 2024 supported by the HOC.
