Touloupis No 114 in the world Longines Ranking!

Rise of Mytilieneou and other Greek horsemen!

Angelos Touloupis, after his double clear rounds in the Longines EEF Series 2022 nations cup in Athens and Gorla CSIO3* Qualifiers and the Budapest CSIO3* Semi-Finals, as well as his victories in the Athens and Budapest Grand Prix and the 2nd place in the Grand Prix of Gorla, rose 47 places and is now No 114 with 1350 points in the Longines Ranking 30.6.2022. This is historically the highest position ever occupied by a Greek athlete in the Longines Ranking!

Ioli Mytilineou moved up two places after her very good performances in the Global Champions Tour & League 2022 series and other 5* competitions and is No 152 with 1140 points.

In the same ranking of June 2022, other Greek riders also show a significant rise last month. More specifically, Kritonas Zafeiropoulos rose 425 places (from 1327 to 898), Yiannis Skandalis rose 2253 places (from 3193 to 940), and Karim Fares rose 445 places (from 1530 to 1085). The big rise of all three of our athletes is due to their very good results in the Nations Cup and the Grand Prix of the Longines EEF Series 2022 events in Athens, Gorla and Budapest.

The rise in the world ranking of Greek athletes is a great success and recognition and at the same time it is a confirmation of the planning of HEF and its Pre-Olympic Preparation Program with Technical Advisor Antonis Petris and the support always from the HOC, which gives hope and motivation for new great international successes, but also for the big goal of this summer, which is the World Jumping Championships in August in Denmark, but also the big goal of next year, which is the qualification of the Greek team for the Olympic Games Paris 2024.
