After the successes of Greek horse riding in jumping, dressage and para-dressage, international successes also come for Greek endurance that shows a great increase in our country lately.

In their third overall international participation as a pair and first participation in an CEI2* 120 km event, Efi Koutsafti and her mare Hadiyya managed to win the 3rd place.

The international competition took place in Arezzo, Italy on Saturday, February 18 and a total of 9 couples took part. The Greek Amazon managed to cover the distance of 120 km. in a total time of 06:49:28, and to win the bronze medal.

The 1st place was won by the Italian Giovanni Marigliano with Ziupedde de Zamaglia with a total time of 06:31:12.

Next international endurance competition for Efi Koutsafti is the premier Fursan Cup to be held in Saudi Arabia on March 3rd and 4th. The invitation of the Greek amazon is very important for Greek Equestrian and the promotion of the sport of endurance in our country, as the top athletes of the world participate in this competition by invitation only, who will claim a total of 4 million US dollars in prizes. which are the biggest prizes worldwide for 2023.

At the same time, the Hellenic Equestrian Federation and the best Greek Endurance athletes are preparing for the big date of the CEI1* & CEI2* international competitions that will take place in Kilkis on April 29 and 30, 2023.
