The 2023 M|Championship at Markopoulo!

After the selection of this year's Endurance Champions, the interest of equestrian fans turns to the selection of the Show Jumping and Dressage Champions, with the top national event taking place the four days, 11 – 14 May 2023. The Olympic Equestrian Center will again this year host the MI Equestrian Championship 2023 in the two sports with many entries from all over Greece.

In show jumping, the events of which will be held both on the main grass arena and on the open sand arena (J1), the selection of the Champions in the age categories, Children, Juniors, Young Riders, Seniors, as well as the Amazon Winner, it will be a three-day competition with four rounds. Rider/Horse pairs are ranked according to the total penalty points of the four rounds and in case of a tie from the ranking of the 3rd day (3rd and 4th round). The competition program also includes a Young horse class, in a three-day competition with three rounds, as well as other classes for pairs of riders/horses not participating in the Championship. The Junior category is dedicated to the memory of the judge Vangelis Englezakis.

In Dressage, the events of which will be held in the central open sand arena, also the Champions of Children, Juniors, Young Riders and Seniors from a three-day competition will be announced. The title of the Champion of Greece in the Children's Category will be judged based on the highest score (average %) in the competitions A3 Children, A4 Children & A5 Children, in Juniors in the competitions C4, C5 & Freestyle, in Young Riders in the competitions Da, De & Freestyle for Young Riders and for Seniors in the Da, Db & Freestyle for Adults events. In addition to the Championship events, there will also be events of the 5th competition. Greek judges and two foreign judges, Mrs. Eva Maria Warmington from Estonia and Mr. Mura Love from N. Zeland.

HEF will broadcast in live streaming via the international platform https://www.clipmyhorse.tv/en_EU/ and on the EOI website https://www.hef.gr/index.php/el/live-streaming-gr the finals of the Children, Juniors, Amazons, Young Riders and Seniors Jumping Categories on the last day, Sunday, May 14 from the main grass arena. 

The entrance will be free for the public, while the programs of the competitions start every day and at the weekend at 9.00 and end after 17.00.
