Start for the Athens CSI* EEF Evolution League!

The Athens CSI1* EEF Evolution League international show jumping competition started yesterday at the Olympic Equestrian Center in Markopoulos and will end on Sunday, September 3.

It is a new pioneering institution of the European Equestrian Federation, which includes, in addition to individual, mixed team events. 150 athletes with 170 horses from 8 countries are taking part in this international competition: Greece, Bulgaria, Turkey, Romania, Cyprus, France, Serbia and Hungary.

In yesterday's last and highest competition of 1.30m. in 1st and 2nd place for Greece were Dimitris Natsis with Cresco with 0 points and a time of 58.93 and Alexandros Fourlis with Idefix del Laghetto with 0 and a time of 60.03.

Today, in the 1.05m event. the winner was Alexandros Fourlis with Gijs with the fastest cler round in a time of 60.50, while the Romanian Anna Maria Mirea with Demon van Damon Hill with a time of 68.40 followed in 2nd and in 3rd place the Bulgarian Ivaylo Tsvetanov with Mickey Mouse with a time of 69.06.

In the first mixed team event of the CSI, the children's 1.15m category. the Blue Airlines team with Emmalia Economopoulou with Stella Blu, Danae Filioti with Painted Black and Eleftheria Myrto Gaiti with Hermieque took the 1st place.

In the second mixed team competition height of 1.25m. the winning team was MVA Mares with Hellas Lemonidis with Venedig, Milena Pappas with Eh Bien van T & L and Benjamin Plantade with Kelly TJEF.

Also today in the Young Horses category, in the 5-year-old category, Kriton Zafeiropoulos took the 1st place with Ontario Z and in the 6-7-year-old category, Stavros Georgopoulos with Queen Capitol.

 

The entrance is free for the public, while tomorrow's program starts at 10.00 and includes three events young horses, 1.10m height. and the last mixed team event of 1.30m..
