Hopefully with complete success and numerous entries from all over Greece, both the 2023 year and the 75th M | Panhellenic Jumping Competitions were completed yesterday.
In the Senior Category, after a jump off between two athletes who had 0 penalty points in the two rounds, Paris Koutsoyiannis of IOBOP was named Panhellenic champion with Oakley with 0 points in the jump off. In 2nd place was Kriton Zafeiropoulos of IOMS with Dicaprio with 4 points in the jump-off, while in 3rd place was Alexandros Fourlis of IOKEN with Idefix del Laghetto with 4 points in the two rounds.
Minister of State, Mr. Makis Voridis, visited the Panhellenic Games and the indoor arena of the Olympic Equestrian Center in Markopoulo yesterday on the last day of the games, and he awarded the prizes at the Senior Class.
In the Young Riders Category, the only amazon with a double clear rounds was Artemis Pitsikou with Venice of IOA, who was the winner. Second was Semeli Popp with Cash de la Hart of IOKOUB and third was Marianna Gunela of IOTH with For Conty.
In the Junior Category, Annita Nomikou with Rushdie of IOB with 4 points in the two rounds was the winner. In 2nd place was Maria Kavalari with Sunny of IOKALSG iand Stefania Bessiu of IOMS with Djana vd Tojopehoeve in 3rd place.
In the Children's Category, Semeli Laiou of IOKEN with Korfenia made the only double clear round in the two rounds and was named Panhellenic Champion. Second was Vassiliki Baliousi ofIOA with Times Square and third was Emmelia Oikonomopoulos ofIOMS' with Stella Blu.
In the Amazon Category after a jump off between four athletes, first was Lauren van Berkel of EIO with Chance de La Loge with 0 points and the best time of 36.81. Second was Marianna Marinopoulou with Copper de Caryan of IOKEN and third was Sasha Hatziprimou with Cendrasine of IOBIOP.
In the Young Horses class, No Guts no Glory ridden by Alexandros Fourlis of IOKEN was crowned Champion Horse up to 5 years old, Quinta ridden by Leonidas Palegdas of IOMS was crowned Champion 6-year-old and Gearnac de Listoir with Vasiliki Baliousi was crowned Champion Horse 7-year-old.
Equestrian competitions are concluded for this year in all equestrian sports with success and new records of athletes and horses.
The action returns in mid-January 2024 with the start of the 2024 Program that can be found on the HEF's website!
