The Greek Equestrian Sport celebrated the qualification of Mytilineou!

In the presence of the Deputy Minister of Sports, Mr. Ioannis Vroutsis, the Annual Event of the Hellenic Equestrian Federation was successfully held last night at the Hellenic Olympic Committee's mansion, where the Hellenic Equestrian Federation celebrated the qualification of Ioli Mytilineou to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
During the event, the minister congratulated Ioli for the historic qualification and wished her success, while at the same time he declared his support to HEF on the issue of the Markopoulo Olympic Equestrian Center.
The event was also graced by the presence of the Second Vice President of the Parliament Mr. Georgios Georgandas, the President of the Hellenic Olympic Committee, Mr. Spyros Kapralos, the Deputy Regional Governor for Sports, Ms. Vassiliki Millousi, the President of the International Olympic Academy, Mr. Isidoros Kouvelos and others members of the Hellenic Olympic Committee and representatives of sports federations.
Yesterday's event was dedicated to the qualification of Ioli to the Olympic Games, 20 years after the participation of Greek Equestrian Sport in the Athens Olympic Games. HEF awarded Ioli Mytileneou, who managed to take 2nd and 3rd place in the Olympic Ranking List of Group C with her two horses Levis de Muze and L'artiste de Toxandra with 718 and 483 points respectively, while in 6th place for Greece was Angelos Touloupis with 343 points.
HEF had specially invited for this event, Heidi Antikatzidis and the 2004 Olympic Jumping Team, her mother Hana Mytilineou, Danae Tsatsou, Emmanuella Athanasiadis and Antonis Petris, who all together handed over the Olympic baton to Ioli. Along with their wishes for good success, they presented her with an engraving by the internationally renowned sculptor Alexandra Athanasiadis.
Furthermore, the Federation awarded Angelos Touloupis for his successes last year, Paradressage rider Michalis Kalarakis for his moving efforts and successes, Dressage rider Theodora Livanou for her international successes, Endurance athlete Efi Koutsaftis for her international successes and Thanasis Hatzopoulos for his participation in the World Driving Championship.
Also HEF awarded all the athletes who honored the national emblem with their participation and contribution to the National Team, the athletes who won medals in the individual and team events of the Balkan Championships in Show Jumping and Dressage, the 2023 Champions in the three equestrian sports, as well as the Champions and Polynikes Clubs.
Hellenic Equestrian Federation once again this year honored its sponsoring organizations and companies, as well as individuals who come to the aid of the sport, such as the National sponsor, Mr. Yiannis Mytilineos and the companies Mytilineos and Protergia, the Region of Attica, the Municipality of Markopoulo, the Public Real Estate Company, Mr. Sam Stathis, Longines and Swatch Hellas, Petros Petropoulos group of companies, Innovis Pharma, Antoniou Group, Duxiana, Connoly, Superfast Ferries, Luxury Sports, IASO General Clinic, Autohellas-Hertz , the Holiday Inn Athens, Paradox, as well as ERT for the promotion of the equestrian sport.
