PENA awarded the top equestrian athletes of Crete for 2023!

The Pie Cutting event of the Regional Committee of the Aegean Islands, Region of Crete of HEF was successfully held on Saturday, March 2 in Rethymnon!

A crowd of people from all over the island flooded the "Thymeli Estate" to honor the top riders of Crete who were awarded by the Federation for their successes in 2023, while the Pie was blessed by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Rethymno & Aulopotamos Prodromos.

The event was graced by the presence of the Vice-Regional Governor Mrs. Maria Lioni from the Region of Crete, from the Municipality of Rethymno the Deputy Mayor of Sports Mr. Nikos Provias and from the Municipality of Agios Vassilios Mr. Theodorakis, while the Board of Directors of the Federation was represented by the Secretary General Mr. George Dimaras.

We sincerely thank the President of PENA, Mr. Nikos Vardakis, and Ms. Efi Peristerakis who worked voluntarily for the successful organization of the event, as well as the Sponsors and Supporters of the evening: TRM BALATON, Poly's Rugs Tack Shop, EquiSport, Mompso, Garden Center Gavalas, Laserworks, Xatzakis, the Music and Dance Association of Crete, George & Nikos Stratakis and their Band, but also the Management and Staff of the Thymeli Estate for the excellent hospitality!
