7 medals in Istanbul!

The National Jumping Team returns from the Balkan Championships in Istanbul with seven medals in its luggage. The Greek athletes won one gold, three silver and three bronze medals in the individual and team events.

In the Juniors Category in the individual event, the gold Balkan champion was Loukas Baliousis with Uidji, collecting the fewest penalty points in all rounds, 1.98 points. In the team event, the Greek team with Paraskevi Kanellakis with Alvaro Mongrenier, Loukas Baliousi with Uidji, Maria Kavalari with Sunny and Anni Nomikou with Rushdie won the silver medal. Golden Balkan champion was the Turkish team.

In the YR category, Greece won two silver medals. In the Individual, the silver Balkan champion was Artemis Pitsikou with Venice, having in all rounds 6.59 points, while the Greek Team with Artemis Pitsikou with Venice, Marianna Gounela with For Conty, Giorgos Meimaridis with Carpe Diem and Semeli Popp with Cash de la Hart took the silver medal. In 1st place was the Turkish team again.

In the Children's Category, the bronze medal in the individual event was won by Vasiliki Baliousi with Golden Girl, having 0 penalty points in all rounds.

In the Ladies Category, our four Amazons, Vasiliki Darmani with Cloud Nine 9, Natasha Fouki with Capitol Gold, Katerina Mela with Armani Bianco, and Karolina Vogdanou with Into the Blue won the bronze medal, while the Bulgarian team won the gold medal. 

In the Seniors Category in the team event, the Greek team with Ilias Baliousi with Casper d'Argouges, Alexandros Fourlis with Idefix del Laghetto, Konstantinos Baliousi with Merlot and Anna Maria Papageorgiou with Janning won the bronze medal, while the team of Romania was first.
