In a festive Christmas atmosphere, both the Metlen 76th Panhellenic Jumping Competitions and the 2024 competition program were completed yesterday at the indoor arena of the Olympic Equestrian Center.

In the Senior Category with the only double clear rounds, for the second consecutive year, Paris Koutsoyiannis of IOBOP with Pellegrino was Panhellenic winner. In 2nd place was Alexandros Fourlis of IOKEN with Idefix del Laghetto with 4 points in the two rounds and in 3rd place Efthimis Kremiotis with Charmont of IOBOP with 8 points.

In the Young Riders Category also with the only double clrear rounds winner was Semeli Popp of IOB with Cash de la Hart. In 2nd place was Maria Kavalari with Sunny of IOKALSG with 8 points and in 3rd place was Marianna Gounela with For Conty of IOB also with 8 points.

In the Junior Category, Loukas Baliousis with Uidgi of IOA emerged as the Panhellenic winner with 0 points in both rounds, while Stefania Besiou with Amira of IOMS and Paraskevi Kanellaki of IOBOP with Alvaro Montegrenier followed in 2nd and 3rd place with 4 points.

In the Children's Category, the Panhellenic Champion with 4 points in the two rounds was Ilia Maria Manesi with Kaiden of AIOKEN. Second and third respectively with 8 points were Vasiliki Baliousi with Golden Girl of IOA and Melina Louverdi Koranti with Casalino of ETHIOT.

In the Amazons Category, the Panhellenic Champion was Mariansi Kyriakopoulou of IOBOP with Oakley with 0 points in both rounds. In 2nd and 3rd place respectively were Vasiliki Darmani with Cloud Nine of IOB with 4 points and Alexandra Koskovou with Capitols Fury of IOM.

In the Young Horse categories, the Champion Horse 5 years old was Chocolate with Theodoris Alexiou of IOM, in the 6 years old category the Champion horse was Calinin with Pavlin Mishovski and in the 7 years old category the Champion was Hella du Ruisseau with Elias Baliousi of IOA.

In the National Development Team Competition on Saturday, the prizes were awarded by the two-time Olympic Champion Demosthenes Tabakos, the President of HEF Mr. Kostas Karakasilis and the President of the IOA and A Vice President of HEF Mr. Isidoros Kouvelos, the winner was the mixed team from Crete (AIOK and IAK). In 2nd place was the Equestrian Club Sirios and in 3rd place was the Equestrian Club of Athens.

Equestrian action returns in mid-January 2025 with the start of the 2025 Program, which can be found on the HEF's website!
