Μetlen 77th Panhellenic Jumping Competitions

The final competitions of the year in the Olympic disciplines of Jumping and Dressage will take place in a joyful Christmas setting. The indoor arena of the Olympic Equestrian Center is dressed for the holidays and welcomes riders from all over Greece who will participate in the Metlen 77th Panhellenic Equestrian Competitions.
This first four-day event, 4–7 December, will host the Panhellenic Show Jumping Championships, while the following week, 11–14 December, the Panhellenic Dressage Championships will take place.
Throughout the Championships, the National Winners in both disciplines will be crowned in the categories of Children, Juniors, Ladies, Young Riders, and Seniors, while in Dressage the Overall Winners of the Year will also be announced.
The first four-day event, dedicated to Jumping, will crown the 2025 National Winners in the Children, Juniors, Young Riders, Seniors, and Ladies categories. The titles will be determined over two rounds held across two days, and in the case of a tie after both days, a jump-off will decide the winners. Additionally, the 2025 Young Horse Champions will be crowned in the 4-, 5-, 6- and 7-year-old categories.
The Jumping programme also includes open-entry competitions as well as the National Development Team Event, which will take place on Saturday afternoon, while the Christmas Cup winners will also be announced.
All Jumping competitions during the 4–7 December event will be streamed live on ClipMyHorse.TV, thanks to the sponsoring of Mrs. Sandra Kraoun and Mr. Andreas Kapsalis, while on Friday 5/12 and Sunday 7/12, ERT, through ET2 and ERTFLIX, will broadcast the Panhellenic Championship classes live.
The second four-day event, dedicated to Dressage, will determine the 2025 National Champions in the Children, Juniors, Young Riders, and Seniors categories, based on the average score of three tests. Specifically:
• Children: average score of tests A3, A4, and A5 Children
• Juniors: average score of tests G4, G5, and Junior Freestyle
• Young Riders: average score of tests Da, De, and Young Riders Freestyle
• Seniors: average score of tests Da, Db, and Seniors Freestyle
Furthermore, the results of each championship test will determine the Overall Winners of the Year per class.
The performances of the Dressage athletes will be judged by three foreign judges — Ms Anne Prain (France), Mr Knut Danzberg (Germany), and Ms Christine Prip (Denmark) — together with the Greek judging panel.

“Equestrian Sport – Two Hearts, One Athlete”
In addition, alongside the Panhellenic Championships, the Hellenic Equestrian Federation will host the event “Equestrian Sport: Two Hearts, One Athlete” on Thursday, 11 December 2025, within the framework of the European BEACTIVE programme, with the participation of students and teachers from schools across Attica.
Entrance for spectators is free on all competition days.
The Federation will also once again support the Special Olympics Panhellenic Equestrian Championships, which will take place on Monday, 15 December 2025.
