The 2nd Championship Competition in Thessaloniki Concludes Successfully!

The 2nd three-day Championship competition in Show Jumping, hosted at the Equestrian Center of Macedonia and the Ippos Club facilities in Thessaloniki, was successfully completed yesterday, Sunday.
In the top event of the 2nd Championship competition, the Grand Prix at a height of 1.45m, the winner was the 2025 Champion, Dimitris Natsis, riding Cresco (AIOKEN), achieving two clear rounds with a time of 46.76 over both rounds. Second place went to Aikaterini Laskaridi with Hilada (IOV), finishing with 0 faults and a time of 47.16, while third place was taken by Monika Martini (IAOF) riding Indiana Jones Max, also with 0 faults and a time of 48.76.
In the Young Riders category at 1.35m, with double clear rounds in both the main round and the jump-off, the winner was Paraskevi Kanellaki riding Alvaro Mongrenier (IOKOUV). Second place went to Maria Kavallari with Sunny (IOKAL), who had 4 faults in the jump-off, and third place to Loukas Baliousis (IOA) riding Ice Tea du Golfe, with 8 faults from the main round. Paraskevi Kanellaki and Alvaro Mongrenier are currently leading the category standings with 20 points after the two competitions.

In the Juniors category at a height of 1.30m, following a jump-off involving four riders, Vasiliki Baliousi (IOA) was the standout performer, securing both first and second place with her two horses, Helsi d’Amaury and Fur Elise, achieving clear rounds in the jump-off. Third place went to Androniki Maroglou riding Don’t Mind (IKEM), with 4 faults and a time of 39.83 in the jump-off.
Vasiliki Baliousi, riding Helsi d’Amaury, currently leads the standings with 19 points after the two competitions.

In the Children’s category at a height of 1.15m, following a jump-off among six athletes, the winner was Antonis Yiantzoglou (IOA) riding Hella du Ruisseau, achieving the fastest clear round with a time of 33.69.
Second place went to Asimina Myrto Spentzou with Kalina vd Dommelbron Z (IOA), with 0 faults and a time of 35.22, while third place was Evantheia Kourkoumeli riding Hella De Latour (IOVOP), also with 0 faults and a time of 35.82.
The rider from IOVOP is also the current leader in the Children’s category standings after two competitions, with 19 points.

In the Ladies’ category at a height of 1.25m, a jump-off took place among seven riders, with Monika Martini (IAOF) riding Maximus taking first place with a clear round and the fastest time of 39.75.
Second place went to Sasa Chatziprimu (IOVOP) with Cendrasine, finishing with 0 faults and a time of 41.22, while third place was claimed by Melina Louverdi Koranti (IOV) riding Ermis de Fanfar, also with 0 faults and a time of 41.50.

In the Young Horses category (6–7 years old), the winner was One of a Kind, ridden by Kriton Zafeiropoulos (IOMS).
The next, 3rd Show Jumping Championship competition is scheduled for the three-day period of April 3–5 at the Olympic Equestrian Center in Markopoulo.
