METLEN Dressage Championship at Markopoulo!
The premier national event of the Olympic discipline of Dressage, the METLEN Championship, will take place at the main sand arena of the Markopoulo Olympic Equestrian Centre.
The Championship competitions will be held over three days, from Friday 15 to Sunday 17 May, during which the Greek Champions in the Children, Junior, Young Rider and Senior categories will be determined through a three-day competition.
The title of Greek Champion in the Children category will be decided based on the highest score (average percentage) achieved in the Children A3, A4 and A5 tests; in the Junior category from the C4, C5 and Freestyle tests; in the Young Rider category from the Da, De and Young Rider Freestyle tests; and in the Senior category from the Da, Db and Senior Freestyle tests.
In addition to the Championship classes, competitions of the 5th event of the series will also take place. Alongside the Greek judges, three foreign judges have been invited to officiate: Italian judge Ms Nicoleta Milanese, British judge Ms Andrea Smith and New Zealand judge Mr Mura Love.
Admission will be free for the public, while the competition programme will begin daily, including the weekend, at 09:00 and will conclude after 18:00.
