For the second time in Thessaloniki, the Longines EEF Series Greece CSIO3*-W returns!

The most important international show jumping event in Greece, the Longines EEF Series CSIO3*-W, is returning to Thessaloniki for the second consecutive year!
Following last year’s highly successful event, the Hellenic Equestrian Federation, in collaboration with the Equestrian Center of Macedonia and IPPOS CLUB, is once again organizing the Longines EEF Series Greece CSIO3*-W 2025. The event will take place over four days, from June 4 to 7, at the outstanding equestrian facilities of IPPOS CLUB in Nea Raidestos.
This year’s Longines EEF Series Greece, held for the sixth time in Greece and for the second time in Northern Greece, includes three separate international show jumping competitions:
- The Longines EEF Series Greece CSIO3*-W, part of the Longines EEF Series Nations Cup 2026, organized under the auspices of the European Equestrian Federation,
- A CSI1* international competition of lower technical difficulty,
- A CSIYH* international competition for young horses (6–7 years old).
The team competition of the Longines EEF Series Greece CSIO3*-W, taking place on Sunday, June 7, will be the highlight of the event program. It serves as a qualifying competition for the Region South of the Longines EEF Nations Cup Series, and naturally the Greek national team, featuring its top riders, will be competing.
The Technical Advisor of the Greek National Team, German expert Lars Meyer zu Bexten, will have all the major stars of Greek equestrian sport at his disposal in order to select the team. This includes Greek riders based abroad, Ioli Mytilineou, who will compete with the national team on home soil for the first time.
In addition to Greece, nine other nations are expected to participate in the Nations Cup team competition: Turkey, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Germany, Hungary, Austria, Slovakia, Romania, Brazil and Italy, last year’s winning team. This number of entries in the Nations Cup is a record for Greece in the competition.
Admission for spectators at the IPPOS Club is free, while all competitions during both weeks will be broadcast via live streaming on the online platform ClipMyHorse.TV and, during the second week, also through the event’s official website CSI Greece Live Streaming.
Prior to this event, the same equestrian venue, IPPOS Club, will host another major competition from May 27 to 31, featuring international show jumping events CSI3* and CSIYH1* for young horses, as well as — for the first time — international competitions for children and juniors, including team events.
Together, these two events form the now well-established “IPPOS Spring Tour,” where participation from international athletes this year exceeds all previous records, with more than 200 riders and 300 horses from 14 countries.
A distinguished group of sponsors, led by the international sponsor Longines and the national sponsor of the sport, Metlen, are supporting these important international competitions. The event’s broadcast sponsor, ΕΡΤ, will broadcast live Sunday’s Nations Cup, along with other events from the four-day competition.
