Second CEI in Orchomenos!
For the second time this year, following the event held in March, an international endurance competition will take place in the Orchomenos area.
More specifically, the Avlonas Equestrian Club, under the auspices of the Hellenic Equestrian Federation, will organize a three-day event at ELIA STUD FARM in Orchomenos from 19 to 21 June, featuring a national qualification competition alongside a second international endurance riding event.
The international competitions include the CEI2-CIM, CEIYJ2, CEI1*, and CEIYJ1*** categories, with riders and their horses competing over distances of 120 km and 100 km, respectively. National qualification events will also be held in parallel.
The total number of entries exceeds 85, including 24 participants in the international competitions and 59 in the national qualification events. Alongside Greek riders, athletes from Bulgaria, Romania, and Italy will also compete in the international events.
The first veterinary inspections for the international competition will take place on Friday, 19 June, while the international races will start very early on the mornings of Saturday and Sunday in order to avoid the highest temperatures of the day.
