Metlen Jumping Championship 2026
The METLEN Jumping Championship in Thessaloniki!
The premier national event, the METLEN Show Jumping Championship, will take place this year from June 25 to 28 in Thessaloniki, at Ippos Club of the Macedonia Equestrian Centre. This will be the 5th and Final Championship competition, which will determine the 2026 Champions in the Children, Juniors, Young Riders, and Seniors categories, as well as the Leading Lady Rider of the Year.
To determine the Champions in the Children, Juniors, Young Riders, and Lady Riders categories, four qualifying competitions have already been held. The final standings are based on the three best results achieved by each athlete/horse combination across the five Championship events. Due to its increased difficulty and importance, the Final Competition will carry double points (100% bonus weighting).
Following the first four Championship competitions, the current leaders in the standings are:
- Children Category: Evanthia Kourmoumeli – Helia de Latour (IOVOP) – 34 points
- Juniors Category: Vasiliki Baliousi – Helsi d’Amaury (IOA) – 32 points
- Young Riders Category: Artemis Talliaki – Valence PP Z (IOV) – 36 points
- Lady Riders Category: Tied for first place with 18 points each:
- Stefania Bessiou – Amira (IOMS)
- Sofia Toki – Santa Maria (IOKOUV)
Only the Senior Champions will be decided based on the Final Competition. The Championship title will be awarded to the athlete and horse combination that achieves the highest placing in the Final.
The Hellenic Equestrian Federation (HEF) will provide live streaming coverage on all four days of the Championship through the platform ClipMyHorse.TV.
Admission to Ippos Club will be free for spectators, while the competition schedule will begin daily at 08:00 and conclude after 18:00, including the weekend.
The event is being organized with the support of sponsors and donors, led by the sport’s National Sponsor, Metlen, and Protergia.
