Natsis, Kavallari, Baliousis & Kourkoumeli Crowned 2026 Show Jumping Champions!

The 2026 Metlen Jumping Championship and 5th Final Competition concluded successfully yesterday afternoon at Ippos Club in Thessaloniki, where this year's Show Jumping Champions were crowned. The event attracted the attention of the entire Greek equestrian community.
Senior Category
For the second consecutive year, Dimitris Natsis successfully defended his title, once again claiming the Senior Championship. Riding Cresco, the AIOKEN athlete recorded the lowest total of penalty points over the four rounds of the final competition, finishing with 8.88 penalties to secure the title.
Second place went to Drasco Dokic (IKEM) aboard Fuerte with 12.99 penalty points, while Ilias Baliousis (IOA), riding Ice Tea du Golfe, finished third with 14.58 penalty points.
Young Riders Category
The winner of the fifth and final competition, Maria Kavallari, riding Sunny for IOKALSG, was also crowned Young Riders Champion, having accumulated the highest overall score of the championship series with 42 points.
Second place in the championship standings went to Artemis Talliaki (IOV) aboard Valence with 38 points, while Paraskevi Kanellaki (IOKOUV), riding Alvaro Mongrenier, finished third with 22 points.

Juniors Category
Victory in the final competition also secured this year's Junior Championship for Vasiliki Baliousi (IOA), riding Helsi d’Amaury. With a total of 41 points from this season's championship competitions, she claimed the overall title.
Anastasia Albertou (IOA), aboard Imotep d’Amour, finished second in the championship standings with 33 points, while Semeli Laiou (IOV), riding Grey Leo, claimed third place with 31 points.

Children Category
Evnathia Kourkoumeli (IOVOP), riding Helia de Latour, was crowned Children's Champion after winning the final competition and finishing at the top of the overall championship standings with 41 points.
Antonis Giantzoglou (IOA), aboard Hella du Ruisseau, secured second place with 38 points, while Asimina Myrto Spentzou (IOA), riding Kallina vd Dommelbron Z, completed the podium in third place with 34 points.

Ladies Category
Monika Martini (IAOF), riding Maximus, was crowned Ladies Champion after not only winning the fifth and final competition but also finishing at the top of the overall championship standings with 33 points.
Dimitra Inglesi (IOA), aboard Dragon Boy, claimed second place with a total of 27 points, while Iliana Zafeiropoulou (IKEM), riding Taquine du Vinier, finished third with 25 points.

Senior B Category & 7-Year-Old Young Horses
In the Senior B Category, Drasco Dokic (IKEM), riding New Adventure, claimed victory.
In the 7-Year-Old Young Horses category, Anna Papageorgiou (IKEM), riding Kigali du Pommier, secured first place.
