New International Sponsorship Partnership to Promote Endurance in Greece

The Hellenic Equestrian Federation (HEF) is pleased to announce the launch of a significant international sponsorship partnership aimed at promoting the sport of Endurance in Greece, effective from the 2026 season.

Under this partnership, sponsorship support totaling €25,000 has been secured from the Emirates International Endurance Village (EIEV) as part of the international EIEV Global Endurance Series. The first event to be hosted in Greece under this initiative will be the CEI1*, CEI2*, CEIYJ1* and CEIYJ2* International Endurance , which will take place alongside the 2026 Hellenic National Endurance Championships on 21–22 November 2026 in Lamia, organized by the Lamia Equestrian Club.

The 2026 sponsorship package includes:

• €15,000 in prize money for the winning athletes and horses, as well as a Best Condition Award.
• €10,000 to support the organization of the event and enhance its overall operational standards.

In addition, the first- and second-placed riders in the Young Riders and Juniors categories will receive invitations to compete in the UAE President Endurance Cup 2026–2027, offering Greek athletes a unique opportunity to gain valuable international competitive experience.

This partnership marks the beginning of a long-term strategic relationship with EIEV and represents an important milestone in the continued growth and development of Endurance Riding in Greece. It will contribute to raising the standard of Greek endurance competitions while creating new international opportunities for Greek athletes.

Furthermore, the partnership establishes the conditions for the implementation of the EIEV Results System across all national Endurance Riding competitions in Greece. This fulfills a long-standing request from the Greek endurance community for greater modernization, efficiency, and transparency in the organization and management of competitions.

The Hellenic Equestrian Federation extends its sincere gratitude to Emirates International Endurance Village (EIEV) for its trust and generous support and remains committed to further developing Endurance Riding in Greece while strengthening the country's international presence in the sport.
