Greece to Compete with a Team at the Mediterranean Games in Taranto!

Greece will compete with a team of four athletes in the 20th Mediterranean Games, taking place in the city of Taranto, Italy, from 21 August to 3 September 2026.

Greece will participate in the Jumping competition with Aikaterini Laskaridou and Hilada, Ilias Baliouisis and Casper d’Argouges, Dimitris Natsis and Creso, and Angelos Touloupis and Del Rey of The Lowlands. The team will be accompanied by German Technical Advisor Lars Meyer zu Bexten.

The equestrian events will take place at the Horse Club Terra Jonica – San Giorgio Jonico, a few kilometres outside Taranto. The Team Competition will be held on Sunday, 30 August, while the Individual Competition will take place on Tuesday, 1 September.

A total of 54 athletes and their respective horses are expected to compete. The Team Competition will feature 11 national teams: Greece, Egypt, France, Italy, Monaco, Morocco, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Tunisia, and Türkiye.
