Gold medal for Greece in Ladies Team

The second day of the Balkan Jumping Championship, taking place in Thessaloniki at Ippos Club, got off to a winning start for Greece!

In the first category of the day, the Ladies’ Team Competition, Greece claimed the gold medal, with Türkiye taking silver and Bulgaria finishing third.

The four Greek riders — Katerina Doubodel – Cash de la Hart, Demi Inglesi – Dinka de Chalusse, Marianna Marinopoulou – Copper de Caryan and Argyro Papageorgiou – Harmony — completed the two rounds with 16 penalties, securing Greece’s first gold medal of the day! ???

In the Young Riders Team Competition, Türkiye took the gold medal, with Romania in second place and Greece in third.

The Turkish team — Duru Ayan – Izabelle, Deren Alkumru – Lucky One, Gökalp Danaci – Matty and Selin Tezgeldi – Global W — finished on 16 penalties over the two rounds, taking the top spot.

The Greek team consisted of Maria Kavallari – Sunny, Artemis Taliaki – Valence, Paraskevi Kanellaki – Bergamotte d’Amour and Loukas Baliouisis – I Go du Barney.

In the final category of the day, the Seniors’ Team Competition, Croatia’s young team claimed the gold medal with just 4 penalties over the two rounds. Romania finished second, while Türkiye took third place.
