Balkan Endurance Championship in Romania

Alongside the Balkan Dressage Championship in Belgrade, the Balkan Endurance Championship will also take place.

The Championship will be held in Romania, specifically in Buftea, from 18 to 20 September. Greece will participate with 15 athletes in the two categories of Seniors and Juniors & Young Riders.

A total of 25 athletes from six Balkan countries will compete in the Seniors category, while 26 athletes from five countries will take part in the Juniors & Young Riders category.

The Seniors competition will cover a distance of 120 km, while the Juniors & Young Riders competition will cover 100 km. Both races are scheduled for Saturday, 19 September, at 6:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m., respectively.

On Friday, 18 September, the veterinary inspection will take place, followed by the opening ceremony and the parade of teams.

The Chef de Mission will be Mr Christos Konstantinou, while the Team Leader will be Mr Sotiris Patsiouras, Second Vice President of the Hellenic Equestrian Federation.

On Sunday, 20 September, an international endurance competition for Juniors & Young Riders, CEIYJ1* 100, will also take place.
