Excitement at 3rd competition TRM - BALATON HELLAS Development Tournament in Rhodes

Great enthusiasm prevailed at the third competition of the TRM - BALATON HELLAS Development Tournament, that took place in Rhodes's Equestrian Club "Kadmos" the weekend of October 27th - 29th.

The competition was successful, with the people of Rhodes giving a dynamic presence and applauding old and new athletes. In the vet check, all  horses were presented with a lot of care, so a draw for the best presence has to be done.

Apart from the seminar with the two judges, Nikos and Rosmary Georgopoulou, there was an open discussion with all the athletes and their parents. Jumping judge was once again Mrs. Irene Egglezakis. 

On Friday, an extraordinary license took place with 8 athletes in dressage and 5 in jumping from Rhodes and Kos.

Emilios Volas from Symi, an Special Olympic athlete took part succesfully in class E. 

On Saturday dressage took place succesfully despite the bad weather. That's why the prize giving ceremony took place at the club's premises. On Sunday, the representatives of the Region attended the games, while the winners were awarded by Mr. Kallistos Diakogeorgiou, Regional Director of Culture and Environment of the Dodecanese and Mr. Stefanos Kyriazis, Deputy Mayor of the Municipal Organization of Sports Culture of Rhodes.

The participants and the people said they were thrilled by the very nice institution asking not only to be continued, but to become more frequent.

In the late November, 25-26, the 4th competition of the Tournament will be held in Crete and the Rethymnon Equestrian Club.
