Greece on two Driving Championships

Our country continues its presence in major equestrian events and in the sport of driving. Greece will be represented at two impressive World Driving Championships in the next fifteen days.
This week, from September 5th to September 8th, Alexandros Zambouris will take part in the World Driving Championship Young Horses, to be held in Mezohegyes, Hungary. The Greek athlete will compete with Habrino's 7-year-old horse, while athletes from 6 countries, including Austria, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland and Romania, will compete in the championship.
Correspondingly next week, and from September 11th to September 15th, Thanasis Hatzopoulos will take part in the World Driving Pairs Championship in Drabkau, Germany. The Greek athlete will compete with his three horses, Darius, Dexter and Greydanus, with a total of 83 athletes from 23 countries taking part.
