Balkan Endurance Ch with great success at Kilkis !

As the best Balkan Endurance Championship held ever, foreign athletes and officials have called this year's organisation being very satisfied. The Balkan Endurance Championship was held in the forest of Leventochori Kilkis on Friday and Saturday, 4 & 5 October. The Hellenic Equestrian Federation organized for the first time the Balkan Championship in cooperation with the Municipality of Kilkis and the Kilkis Equestrian Club.

In the Balkan Championship, the Greek team consisting of Annie Vatidi with Morfey, Pantelis Salonikios with Six Degrees, Irini Mitona with Aphroditi, Victoria Schinas with Koheilan XIII 16 Salamon P and Dimitris Mitonas with Jamelia finishing 90km. in total time 17:44:58. The Bulgarian team won the gold medal in a time of 15:46:26.

In the individual event of the Balkan Championship in the 8th place was Annie Vatidis with Morfey who finished the 90 km. in time 05:51:06. In the 9th place was Pantelis Salonikios with Six Degrees in time 05:51:18, in the 10th place was Irini Mitona with Aphroditi with a time of 06:02:34 and in 12th place was Victoria Schoinas with Koheilan XIII 16 Salamon P with time 06:55:07.

In the individual competition, the three medals were won by athletes from Bulgaria. Balkan Gold was won by Magdalinka Vaneva with Karla, Silver medal was won by Maria Jordanova with Amazonka Parva and Bronze medal was won by Jordan Yankov with Akila Ahmir.

At the 90km CEI1 * Dessislava Aleksieva with Zemlianka was in 1st plpace and Bulgaria's Ivan Stoichev with Manaba was in the 2nd place.
